If you are reading this document chances are high that you are still on outdated release 2007A or 2005A without active annual contract with SAP. For easy reading we would like to compile it in FAQ style. Before we begin our questions and answers session we would like to note that this paper is not intended to be technical and if you are programmer please see our previous publications with technology orientation. If you are manager in IT department then it is probably good fit for you:
Q. Our original reseller told us that they do not support old version and left us without service. Is it really a challenge to consult 2005A?
A. It depends on the topic. If you need new user training or technology consulting then it is close to what you may expect at current releases 8.82 and 9.0. On the other hand if you need License Server move to new computer then it might be challenging as license is coded on MAC number of the motherboard
